After using the Laowa 15mm f2 for 8 months I can safely say it is one of the best ultra wide lenses for Sony full frame cameras like the A7iii and A7Riii. This is a excellent lens for astrophotography, landscape photography, architecture and Realestate photos. It works wonderfully for both video and photos. While it is a full manual lens it works really well for gimbal work and video work provided you are used to checking your focus regularly.
This lens takes wonderful sharp pictures at all different f stops and has an incredibly close focus distance. practically touch the object you are taking a photo or video of and still have it be in perfect focus. The great thing about this is that you still have a fantastic full field of view of the objects surroundings.
It is fairly light weight and small so this lens works really well on gimbals too which makes it a great lens for Realestate videos and photos. You can still get a great FOV in small tight spaces since it has such a wide angle FOV. The best part is there is no distortion in the image so all you lines stay nice and straight.
